Child safety standards

Senior Dating is a dating app for adults only, published by Zomil (Zaulhat MILANDOU, sole trader, Paris, France). These standards describe our zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). They apply to the senior.zomil.app website and the Senior Dating app, as well as to every app published by Zomil (list at the end of this page).

1. Zero tolerance

The following are strictly prohibited on Senior Dating, in profiles, photos, videos, posts, comments, stories and private messages:

• any child sexual abuse material (images, videos, texts, drawings or generated content), as well as searching for, sharing or promoting it;
• any sexualisation of minors, including as role play or “fiction”;
• soliciting a minor or grooming: contacting a child, gaining their trust or asking for images in order to abuse them;
• sextortion and any form of trafficking or exploitation of minors;
• any request for contacts, photos or information that could be used to locate a child.

Any violation leads to the immediate removal of the content, the permanent blocking of the account and, where required by law or whenever we become aware of it, a report to the competent authorities.

2. A service for adults only

• Registration is restricted to people aged 18 and over (50 and over for Senior Dating). The date of birth is requested at sign-up and minors cannot create an account.
• If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, it is deleted.
• Every member can report a profile with the reason “User is under 18”.

3. Prevention measures

• Automatic photo checks: every photo uploaded (profile, posts, stories) is analysed. Nudity and photos in which a child is detected are automatically rejected, on profiles as well as in the feed.
• Profile photo = the member’s face: the main photo must show the face of the person who created the account.
• Selfie verification: members can have their profile verified with a selfie compared to their photos; moderators can require this verification for a suspicious profile, which stays hidden until it is approved.
• Text checks: bios containing contact details or prohibited content are automatically blocked.
• Blocking: every member can block another member at any time.

4. Reporting a concern

From within the app or the website, without leaving it, every profile, post, comment and conversation can be reported with the “Report” button, choosing in particular the reason “User is under 18” or “Inappropriate sexual content”. You can also write to us at contact@zomil.app or through the contact page, specifying the profile or content concerned.

If a child is in immediate danger, first contact the police or the emergency services in your country (112 in Europe).

5. How reports are handled

• Reports related to child safety are handled as a priority by our moderation team.
• The content is removed as soon as we become aware of it and the account concerned is permanently blocked.
• Information useful to an investigation is kept securely, within the limits set by law, so that it can be passed on to the authorities.

6. Reporting to the authorities

Zomil complies with all applicable child safety laws. Any child sexual abuse material and any situation putting a child at risk that we become aware of is reported to the competent authorities: in France, the official PHAROS platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr) and, where necessary, the police; in other countries, the competent national or regional authorities. We cooperate with judicial authorities and law enforcement agencies that make a lawful request.
